PRODUCT REVIEW - Night Vision Goggles

I recently had the chance to do a product review on the Jakks Night Vision goggles. My 2 sons ages 11 and 9 years were definitly up to the task of helping me do my review. From the day the package arrived they couldn't wait to open them.

The first thing they liked was the green manican that the goggles came on. That was a plus for the packaging. Although they were hard to open, as is the case with a lot of toys.
After putting the batteries in on the first try the goggle didn't work. We found that the battery case has to be shut just right for them to work.

Next the adjustment straps - They were very easy to adjust to my boys heads, they were happy about that so they weren't frustrated like some toys can be.
Next they turned them on and away they played. There is 2 settings on them a black and white and a green function. They liked this feature.

Our overall review is that they are great for kids (even bigger kids, cause my husband couldn't wait to try them on too). They are easy to wear and adjust and very fun to play with, my kids are enjoying them immensley. The hardest part was getting them out of the box.
I reccommend this toy for boys or girls, or husbands, ages 5 and above, as they are a little heavy to wear if you have them on for a while.

Why are plus size clothes so tacky ?

I have been so upset lately over the styles and colors of plus size clothing that stores are putting out there. I would LOVE to start a movement demanding stores to care about us plus size shoppers and make cuter more stylish outfits for us !

Yes, we may be overweight but do we need to look like a mess too ?
I know a lot of beautiful plus size woman (myself included) and I do not think it is fair to us that our choices in clothing are so limited !

I mean, who wants to wear huge ugly colored floral patterns all over them, and us bigger sized woman definitely don't want it or people will think they just walked into a flower garden !
Or who that is plus sized wants to wear stripes across them to look like a beach ball ?

It is hard enough to find our size clothes and don't even get me started on the fact that plus sizes cost more (I will save that topic for another blog) PLEASE if anyone is reading from any clothing store that is the buyer for plus sizes or makers of plus size clothing PLEASE stop with this madness and ask US what we would like to see as far as styles and colors and outfit types !

Hello,
My name is Beth, I am a mommy of 4 beautiful children. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. They are 11,9,3, and 4 months. I have a wonderful husband and father of my children. We have been married for 12 years. We live in Pittsburgh PA. I am a stay at home mom, and I love my job ! The best job is a mommy. We don't always get paid well and we are underestimated all the time on what we do during the day and how smart we are. The best compensation I could ask for is seeing my children grow into beautiful young adults and finally adults.

My husband works in a Health Insurance company. He works hard everyday so that I can stay at home and I am so very thankful for that. He is in the finance department and also works in IT.

My favorite things to do are, be online, meet new people, I like to learn about multi cultures, I like to swim, shop, learn, sew, scrapbook, and I am a Christian and I love to be involved in my church. I also volunteer a lot at my children's schools.

As you can probably tell by now my children mean the world to me. Family values and spending time with my family means a lot to me. I am very close to my mother too. I have one sister who I would love to be closer to, but she lives pretty far away, so we stay in touch as much as possible.

I have learned a ton from my children good and bad. I love to help others by sharing my life's experiences, whether about marriage, raising children, budgeting, "couponing", whatever it may be I try to help people. I love being able to pass on my help to people when I can. It is a great and rewarding feeling. I know a lot of people in my life have helped me through and I like to give back by helping others now. I am very compassionate when it comes to my fellow mankind.

I am so looking forward to blogging in the future, and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with others and hopefully helping people out whenever I can.
